About the Role


This role involves ensuring both external and internal customers are supplied with the correct parts in a timely manner, whilst maintaining high customer service standards at all times on the phone, counter sales and between branches.


Responsibilities:


  • Process all branch spare parts orders, including pricing, opening of new parts on the computerised system and placement of orders to overseas and local suppliers
  • Pick parts orders for customers
  • Answer telephone queries relating to parts orders
  • Assist staff members with inventory management
  • Pack goods for dispatch
  • Receipt incoming parts orders, branch transfers & external suppliers
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods
  • Greet customers at the counter and answer their parts queries and place orders
  • Provide staff with a technical assistance and general support
  • Provide assistance to the Sales Department
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant OHS&Q

Requirements:


  • Drivers licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Adequate level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Adequate computer keyboard skills
  • Good phone manner
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to present a professional, friendly and approachable image
  • Good organisational skills
