Role

Our client, a market leading brand, is looking to add a Lawyer or Associate to it's highly successful corporate and commercial team.

This team supports medical practices with all aspects of commercial contracting, large or small.

In this role, you will be reviewing, negotiating, disputing and enforcing your day-to-day contracts for medical supplies, or competitive tendering of larger-value procurement, such as an IT system.

Our client is a doctor-focused law firm that was originally established for their members in 2009 to provide the highest level of defence and protection in medical indemnity.

Our client is now the largest medico-legal firm in Australia and continues to protect members for medical indemnity and employment issues and provide expert advice to help reduce the risk of a complaint or claim.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of postqualification experience with broad experience in commercial law.

Dispute resolution experience is highly desirable.

Experience in the medical / health sector is not essential.
