Based at Reception in the Community Centre of the Retirement Village you will provide a friendly and welcoming "front of house" approach to residents, families, visitors and staff.


As a customer-focused Admin Assistant, your 'typical day' will have you:

  • Performing reception and administrative duties to meet customer needs
  • Providing front of house customer service to the residents, visitors and staff
  • Conducting orientation tours of the Village when delegated by the Village Manager
  • Maintaining office inventory and resident database records
  • Supporting in site recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and assisting with employee onboarding and orientation
  • Submiting resident movein and departure information
  • Liaising with the Retirement Living Accountant regarding resident fees and recharges
  • Working with the Property Services personnel to ensure efficiiencies within the Village maintenance system
  • Creating genuine connections with residents and staff

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in administrative support or customer service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various computer systems
  • A high attention to detail, accuracy and effective time management skills
  • A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate clientfocused behaviour
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with customers over the age of 5
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or a similar qualification
