A day in the life of a Growing Technician:
Maintaining a hands on approach you will be responsible for:

  • Inspection of crop health and irrigation requirements
  • Maintenance and repairs of irrigation lines and equipment
  • Undertake PH and EC calibrations to specifications
  • Use of computerbased program to control greenhouse environment
  • Mix fertiliser
  • Record and report on goods consumption
  • Complete regular audits against required targets
  • Participating in on call alarms

You will be an experienced horticulture professional who thrives on delivering exceptional results. You will be recognised as an energic team members with strong attention to detail and sound judgement. You enjoy working hands on with your crop and have intermediate computer skills. An understanding of Priva software and glasshouse growing experience is highly desirable with a relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.

This position will begin working Monday - Friday and move to Saturday - Wednesday following successful training plan.
