National Channel Manager - Melbourne, Australia - Sharp & Carter

You will be a passionate and experienced sales leader with a love for plant-based products and sustainability, a strategic thinker and have a default to developing people.
Preferably you will have experience of managing a small high performing field team on either a state or national level and as well as managing state based/national distributors across the Foodservice/HORECA or Independent channel.
You should understand the value of money (especially in a highly entrepreneurial business environment) and will be motivated by team success.
You will be comfortable being chucked in the deep end and would welcome the opportunity to take on the diverse challenges that come from a growing business.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage a network of distribution partners, ensuring that the brand is well represented with bestinclass route to market.
- Develop and implement promotional plans and incentive structures with key customers to stimulate growth.
- Lead strategic direction for the channel.
- Manage a team of territory managers.
- Seek new opportunities for the business to be seen and sold in the right places making sure you identify, win and nurture the accounts setting them up for success.
- Accurately forecast and deliver the business plans to keep the business in strong growth and customers in supply at all times.
- Be constantly aware of what is performing well in the channel / wider market and where the opportunities for growth lie.
- Embody and positively promote the company mission, values and brand messages
