RCR Mining Technologies has an exciting career opportunity for an
OSR Technical Officer - Crushing Plant, based at our Welshpool Workshop.

The OSR (Off-Site Repair) team at RCR Mining Technologies supports clients with the repair, installation and maintenance of rotable spares and mobile/fixed plant and equipment.

As the OSR Technical Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that on-site and off-site overhauls for the Crushing Plant are performed safely and in the time with project activities.

You will use your trade expertise and leadership skills to provide ongoing technical support to our clients on their fixed and mobile plant assets, engaging with offsite repairs and onsite maintenance teams and co-ordinating workshop and site-based teams on repair work and new manufacture/upgrades.

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have:

A Mechanical Trade qualification
Australian Driver's licence
At least 5 years crushing equipment trade experience in offsite fixed or mobile plant component maintenance/repair
Previous experience leading multidisciplined skills and trades.
Experience in repairs, maintenance, disassembly, assembly and commissioning of Mining, Processing and Crushing plant equipment
Experience working with Gyratory, Primary and Secondary Crushers, Jaw Crushers Rolls Crusher, Vibratory Crushers, Impact Crushers, Sizing and Screening and Heavy Engineered Transport Frames
Safety Leadership for Supervisors training
A strong commitment to a safety culture
Statutory Supervisor Section 44/26 appointment (preferred)
Certificates in Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Confined Spaces, Firefighting, Dogging & Rigging, Forklift operation (preferred)
