We are currently recruiting qualified Enrolled Nurses who are looking for an exciting career opportunity within the Great Southern Region of Western Australia

The Great Southern aim to fill Enrolled Nursing vacancies in a variety of different fields of nursing practice to the following locations:

• Katanning

The Great Southern region is one of the nine regions of Western Australia. It is located on the south coast of Western Australia adjoining the Southern Ocean, where it extends for approximately 250 km. It is bordered by the South West region on the west and extends 200 km north where it meets the Wheatbelt region.

The Great Southern health region is made up of two geographic health districts, the Central Great Southern and Lower Great Southern. Its largest city is Albany, which is located 418 km from Perth.

The Central Great Southern includes one District Hospital (Katanning Hospital) and two small hospitals (Gnowangerup and Kojonup Hospitals) and one Nursing Post/Health Centre (Tambellup Health Centre). The Lower Great Southern includes one regional hospital (Albany Hospital), three small hospitals (Denmark, Plantagenet, and Ravensthorpe Hospitals) and two Nursing Posts/Health Centres (Bremer Bay and Jerramungup Health Centres).

The Central Great Southern region includes Katanning, Gnowangerup, and Kojonup. Katanning is a town alive with different cultures and cuisine. The people are friendly, harmonious, and respectful. The Eastern Lower Great Southern region includes Ravensthorpe, Bremer Bay, and Jerramungup, and is home to some of the most unique National Parks and Reserves in Australia. The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
