The Opportunity:

As the Security Operations Superintendent you are responsible for the development & implementation of the asset protection plan, ensuring that effective systems and processes are implemented to protect the security of the assets, employees and contractors across the mine site.

Roster: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Salary:

Key Focus:

Coaching & developing local workforce
Lead and set standards for site security team
Support senior operational team across the site
Key liaison with local police force
Oversight and leadership of the security team
Reduce illegal mining activity
Develop effective policy, procedures, processes

Core competences:

Mining security and asset protection leadership experience
Expatriate experience in Africa, PNG, Asia, South America, Pacific (Highly desired)
Police / military background
Ability to lead with authority and influence across a large site
Experience of working on challenging sites
Experience leading large teams
