Start 2023 with this internationally well-known company and brand located in Scoresby, is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join their team.

Your day will include but not be limited to the following:

Logistics: warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation
Developing, implementing, and monitoring all logistics management activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.
Identifies opportunities for optimization in warehousing, distribution network and local transport.
Responsible for acquisition activities within Logistics (negotiation, contracting and operational followup), including local warehousing, local transport, and export transport.
Coordinates contract and daily contacts with third party warehouse and freight providers
Daily coordination of the warehousing team
Manages, motivates, and inspires the team.
Ensures warehousing activities are managed in a safe work environment, including responsibility for dangerous & hazardous goods storage and handling.
Monitors performance of all logistics activities
Provide support on EH&S activities to local directors.
Ensures employees and thirdparty operators are aware of EH&S policies and have completed any required training
Coordinates leasing contracts for Office and Warehouse
Coordinates the local purchasing activities.

You will have:

Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management. Working experience in an international environment would be advantageous.
Experience working with SAP would be great, but they are willing to provide training
Technical knowledge of Customs and other applicable regulations related to import/export of goods.
Analyticalminded and innovative, with welldeveloped problemsolving skills.
Good leadership and communication skills
A positive attitude, be proactive and a selfstarter by nature.
A willingness to learn.
Qualification in Logistics would be an advantage
