We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to actively contribute to our mission of promoting mental well-being and supporting individuals on their recovery journey.


Key Accountabilities:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking evidence-based therapeutic interventions with a commitment to excellence.
  • Conducting daily clinical duties, including triage, assessment, care planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support consumers in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
  • Providing case management services to consumers with enduring mental illness within the recovery framework, ensuring assertive linkage to local rehabilitation, support services, and other treatment services.
  • Participating in collaborative care models, effectively communicating with consumers, families, carers, and other healthcare teams.
  • Delivering highquality consumercentered and familyinclusive care in alignment with relevant legislation, National Mental Health Standards, organisational policies, and professional standards of practice.
  • Providing education, health promotion, and prevention for consumers, carers, families, students, colleagues, and other interested groups to enhance understanding and knowledge about mental health.
  • Modeling and participating in the organisation's commitment to consumer and carer participation in individual case assessment, planning, and service delivery.
  • Accurately collating and timely completing health care information in relevant record systems, ensuring legal requirements are met, and adhering to MHOAT guidelines.

Key Challenges:


  • Effectively managing time and prioritising tasks within the constraints of clinical demands, time, and travel.
  • Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and promoting professional opinions within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Relevant qualification in mental health or related field.
  • Registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
