Part or Full time:


The role:

  • The position will involve primary case responsibility of referral and secondopinion complex general practice cases at our practices located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne
  • An attractive remuneration package will be offered with a minimum of 4weeks annual leave, 1week paid conference leave and included conference stipend
  • We have onsite cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, radiology and endoscopy
  • We are expanding to a second inner Melbourne site which is currently in the process of planning, with construction starting early next year, with completion estimated mid202
  • The new site will have a 24hour ICU, CT scan and radioiodine facility and we are looking to expand our specialist services to other disciplines in the future

About You:

  • We're looking for someone who's passionate about cats with qualifications in Feline or Small Animal Internal Medicine, eligible for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Practitioners Board (for example FANZCVS, Dipl ACVIM, or Dipl ECVIM)
  • We would also welcome enquiries from clinicians who have completed their residency training and are in the process of sitting appropriate Board examinations
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on optimizing treatment outcomes through thoughtful case management and communication with clients, referring vets and other hospital staff
