The position

We are seeking Support Workers to join our supportive and growing team to work with participants within our organisation across Melbourne.

We have participants in varies locations such as Southern and Western Melbourne.

This position also has the added bonus of further opportunities and growth within the organisation and field.

Positions available for day, morning, afternoon, early evening and weekends. The hours are dependent on participant needs.

Qualifications & experience

Demonstrated knowledge of disability and mental health.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Victorian Driver's license and vehicle
NDIS worker Screening Check (willing to obtain)
Working with Children Check

About you:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer/technology knowledge
Excellent customer service skills and genuine care and attention to our participants.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Have passion for what you do

Tasks & responsibilities

Work with people who have varying needs with a variety of disabilities
Flexible work arrangements around peoples' individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks and manual handling
You may need to undergo additional training such has manual handling, medication training etc.

Salary:
$ $35.00 per hour
