As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive written proposals and bids that showcase our company's capabilities and win new business opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Subject Matter Experts, to gather information and develop customised proposals that meet client requirements.

Your excellent writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines will be critical to your success.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop winning bid strategies, ensuring compliance and branding.
  • Write persuasive, clear proposals that meet client needs and highlight our unique selling points.
  • Tailor proposals to target markets, differentiating our offerings and increasing win rates.
  • Develop templates and reusable content to streamline the bid writing process.
  • Create impactful content for diverse audiences, translating technical information into accessible language.
  • Manage the endtoend bid process, including planning, content development, and submission.
  • Maintain a bid library for consistency and efficiency.
  • Coordinate meetings and reviews, incorporating feedback to finalise proposals.
  • Collaborate on visually appealing proposal layouts and visuals.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Conduct content audits to ensure relevance and competitiveness.
  • Continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and our offerings.
  • Share knowledge and insights with crossfunctional teams.

Requirements:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of bid processes, RFP/RFI requirements, and proposal best practices.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise proposal content.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and proposal management tools.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in crossfunctional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in visual design or working with graphic design tools is a plus.
