In this role you will:

  • Lead a compliance team, foster effective teamwork and support and develop staff.
  • Use insights from market operations, analysis and reform and enforcement to determine compliance strategies and compliance and audit priorities and target compliance activities.
  • Plan, manage and deliver the compliance and audit work program including effectively managing resources between business as usual and project activity to deliver the Energy Division's priorities.


The Manager, Compliance is responsible for leading a team that is responsible producing compliance strategies, setting compliance priorities, undertaking compliance reviews, triaging compliance matters, producing guidance on how to comply with energy code obligations and clarifying standards through wrongful disconnection referrals.


The position is in the Energy Division, which is responsible for supporting the commission regulate Victorian electricity and gas businesses.

The Energy Division's key role is to support an innovative and efficient energy market and to ensure better performance from our energy companies.
