About The Role
PLAION is looking for a Engagement Coordinator to join the Sydney based entertainment publisher.
This role will support the community engagement team for the Australia & New Zealand Pacific region. You will be a part of the Marketing & Communications team, supporting strategies for social media content, community and influencer executions in the region. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating strategies to engage player communities, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting games, features or events across the PLAION portfolio of partners and titles.
Responsibilities include:
Acting as general support role for the Engagement team, including the Head of Engagement, Community Managers and the Influencer Campaign Manager
Supporting all executions for the local engagement strategy, within the framework of the regional & global strategy, including across local social channels, influencers and paid media campaigns
Day to day support of owned social channels and documents, including management of the relevant team documents
Social content asset creation, curation and publishing
Management of the Communications Database, including identifying new and upcoming content creators and channels
Creation and implementation of community development strategies
Informs product campaign decisions based on player community insights
Distribution of review copies to relevant content creators
Building relationships with local community members, upcoming content creators and brand partners
Deep understanding of local content creators and their position/relevance in each campaign and wider gaming community
Engaging with community to respond to questions and issues where appropriate, reporting issues or concerns with local team members, as well as suggesting actions and responses.
Supporting the team at trade shows, exhibitions and events
Supporting the Community Management team with weekly reporting of social channel performance and community sentiment
Content creator coverage tracking and reporting
Working with partners to identify and integrate content opportunities across owned, earned and partner channels
Liaising with Marketing & PR Managers to ensure all social and community aspects of campaigns are executed
Additional related duties as directed by the Marketing & PR Managers, Head of Engagement, Marketing Director and Managing Director
About You
Strong understanding of player motivations and how they consume content/products to inform marketing and communications strategies
Passion for gaming and building the local community
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and proficient at proofreading
Strong knowledge of social channels and broadcast platforms
Experience with social media management, paid campaigns and reporting
Event management and/or customer service experience
