NDIS Service Manager to join their team based in Gold Coast.

Job Role and Summary:


As the NDIS Service Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading and managing teams of support workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs.

Leading by example and fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement, you will oversee operational, financial, and people-related functions to ensure the successful delivery of participants' planned supports and desired outcomes.


Responsibilities:


In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, training, mentoring, and supervising a team of support workers
  • Implementing NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators to ensure highquality supports
  • Managing the Participant intake process and probationary periods
  • Developing inclusive team practices through regular meetings and mentoring support
  • Coaching team members to align their practice with participant outcomes
  • Providing regular performance supervision and reflection
  • Rostering support workers based on participant needs and preferences
  • Ensuring compliance with positive behaviour support strategies and NDIS reporting
  • Managing financial aspects, including funding tracking and service agreements
  • Building local community connections and alliances
  • Participating in recruitment planning and team development

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, or higher qualification
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience in leadership or people management roles
  • A sound understanding of service delivery in the disability sector, legislative requirements, and the key issues involved in operating as an NDIS service provider
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptive mindset
  • Experience leading change and improvement initiatives
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, highfunctioning team culture
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Blue Card and NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Queensland Driver License and own vehicle
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Rights to work in Australia
