Operations Scheduler Logistics
The purpose of this position is to oversee, manage and implement the daily asphalt operations of the company.


This role requires a motivated person with a positive attitude and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Someone who wants to balance their work and life activities and find enjoyment and satisfaction of being part of an organisation that works to achieve that balance.

Some of the daily activities that you will be undertaking include.

  • Day to day management of repair technicians and vehicles
  • Organising logistics for multiple vehicles in different locations per day
  • Site visits and officebased position managing the schedule as efficiently as possible.
  • Discussing needs of clients and pricing
  • Working safely, autonomously and unsupervised on a daily basis
  • Ensure safety checks are being carried out
  • Courteous and respectful communication with suppliers, technicians and clients on a daily basis.
  • Regular meetings with technicians and management.

Required Skills:


  • Ability to manage multiple vehicles in several locations per day.
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
  • Courteous and consistent communication skills.
  • Selfmotivation with a "go get em" attitude.
  • Work with a sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail when completing tasks.
  • Cleanliness and maintenance of workspaces, vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to recognise problems and solve them without third party intervention.

Experience
Proven work experience as an operational manager or similar. Previous experience in the asphalt industry is not essential but will be highly advantageous for this role.


Education

Essential:

  • Graduated high school or equivalent.

Not essential but an advantage:

  • Light Rigid Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Certificate III or IV or Diploma of Business (Administration).

Salary:
$100, $120,000.00 per year
