We are currently seeking a
Accounts Clerk to join our very busy and highly varied
Accounts department. This role would be suitable for someone with basic administration or accounts experience. Due to the nature of this busy role, a positive attitude with a hands-on approach is required.
What the role briefly entails:
- Daily Banking Function for the group
- Reconcile cash, cheques and eftpos for all daily transactions
- Follow up on any End of Day anomaly items
- General journals
- Manage Stationery Orders
- Adhoc administration duties
- Working within team to complete month end deadlines/goals
- Provide general support to our Accounts department as required
What we are looking for:
- Experience in cash handling position preferred
- An ability to adapt to a fastpaced work environment
- Strong communication skills both within a department and with stakeholders in the Group
- Strong attention to detail
- Data entry Skills
- Excel skills
