Work in the Note Issue Department where they are responsible for research into and development of new banknote designs and security features, and the supply of good quality/authentic banknotes to meet the community's demand
.


You'll be involved in a variety of activities including:

  • Lead the operations of the team responsible for the Bank's banknote arrangements, including storage and control, during the refurbishment of the Bank's head office.
  • Oversee a range of administrative tasks to ensure the section runs smoothly.
  • Propose process improvements relating to banknote storage and control.
  • Ensure that procedures are adhered to.
  • Contribute to the strategic objectives of the department either individually or as part of a collaborative working group.

This is a maximum fixed term contract.

Your background

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Being a hands-on team player.
  • Proven capability for solving problems of an operational nature. Experience with Security arrangements would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in handling complex operational issues and ensuring appropriate solutions are implemented.
  • Experience with standard office software with high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of WHS procedures.

About the team

As part of a collaborative team you will support banknote distribution, sampling, storage and control arrangements, minimising risk in respect of these arrangements during the refurbishment of the Bank's head office.

The role will require you to be adaptive, responsive, diligent and organised.
