Job Description:
Are you passionate about winning work? AECOM has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Strategic Pursuits Manager to join our Melbourne office working with a great team on some of the largest, most important and definitely career-defining opportunities
This role helps identify, pursue and most importantly, WIN major projects that will improve our natural and built environment.
You will be collaborating with a wide range of technical specialists and project managers who love what they do and know we can make a difference while having fun along the way.
With direct support from our tight-knit Australia New Zealand pursuits team, you will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy and flexibility in how you create and inspire winning teams and pursuit strategies, working within our global network of almost 50,000 colleagues.
This is a business-critical role within a high-performing, client-focused team that needs your energy, positive attitude and strategic focus to continue to deliver results.
Qualifications:
About You
You are highly driven, self-motivated yet thrive on assembling and supporting diverse teams to win pursuits
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing pursuit teams (preferably within a complex professional services environment)
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to adeptly present ideas and suggestions to senior leaders
- Relevant qualification highly regarded
- Exceptional influencing skills - assertive but tactful
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivator
- Highly organised, excellent time management, able to work under pressure to strict deadlines, prioritising tasks.
