Are you an IT Desktop Technician with a passion for face-off to global technical teams, coordination of local hands-and-eyes services, and supporting key regional projects? If so, we want you to be a part of our client's Brisbane team.

About the Role:

As the IT Desktop Technician, you will be the first point of contact for Office and Plant users, responsible for logging direct incoming requests in the ServiceNow tool.

You will provide on-site support for devices, peripherals, printers, telecommunications, and network infrastructure.

You will ensure depot activities align with global standards, maintain IT asset databases, and manage relationships within IT, local users, and the business.

Duties:

First point of contact for IT issues and requirements.
Onsite support for devices, peripherals, printers, telecommunications, and network connectivity.
Explain business impact to remote teams and support key regional projects.
Consult on regional/local considerations for global IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives.
Point of contact for testing, rollout planning, and communications
Work in partnership with the regional business to ensure effective IT Service delivery.
Infrastructure support for Office 365/Onpremises Exchange servers, Microsoft Stack, and more.
Followthesun support and escalations for enterprise messaging platforms.

Requirements:

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology; Computer Science Discipline (preferred).
Solid experience in servicing technical products in the oil, gas, and utility chemical market
Personal drive and tenacity for business growth, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.
