About the Role

Lead a highly capable and experienced team to deliver on quality, risk, and compliance objectives, working with a complex not-for-profit organisation in this highly valued senior leadership role.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will involve consultation and collaboration across all levels of the organisation, requiring strong capabilities in people leadership, strategy development and implementation, risk management, performance measurement and continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.- With a strong quality management system in place, this is a genuine opportunity to add value and contribute at a strategic level, whilst also making a difference working in the community sector.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and review organisational quality and risk management processes and activities
  • Provide leadership and management to teams within the Quality, Risk and Performance business unit
  • In consultation with the Leadership Team, develop and implement key strategies relating to quality, risk, and performance reporting
  • Lead and coordinate processes relating to external certification, overseeing internal quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Provide advice and guidance to service delivery leaders in relation to legal obligations and compliance
  • Work closely with senior leadership to manage the Risk Management Framework, monitoring and reporting on all risk and continuous improvement activities
  • Develop and maintain organisational performance reporting frameworks to meet internal and external obligations

Skills & Experience required

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience leading quality, risk, and compliance, ideally within a services environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, this role will require you to engage with all areas of the business, from senior leadership to service delivery
  • Highly developed organisation and project management skills
