Full Time/Fixed Term appointment (12 months parental leave position)

  • Level 3/4: $57,664 to $73, % superannuation


Situated below the breathtaking Mount Keira escarpment and adjacent to North Wollongong beach, Innovation Campus is home to facilities which are modern and proudly designed and built with sustainable building practices, offering a range of versatile function rooms and event spaces.


The University of Wollongong's Commercial Development Unit has an opportunity for a professional Administration and Customer Service Assistant to join their team and provide high quality and efficient administration support to university operations at the Innovation Campus and to provide a welcoming reception experience to all current and future clients.


The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting the Business Manager with general administration tasks, overseeing facility bookings, records management, on boarding of new clients, coordination and distribution of mail, and providing relevant training and assistance to clients as and when required.


  • Administration certification and experience and/or relevant experience and education
  • Demonstrated competence and experience across a range of reception and general office administration tasks, including the use of common office technology and software
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural sensitivity


You may be required to work outside of core business hours on occasion depending on the specific needs of the work unit.
