Our Mining & Infrastructure Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations.

As a trusted partner to the WA & QLD resource sectors, Calibre is integrated in our Client's Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.


The Role

  • Review, draft and negotiate contracts, including engineering, procurement, construction and service agreements
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors and project teams
  • Ensuring all commercial requirements of the contracts are satisfied
  • Communicate with engineers, package leads and project personnel to provide guidance on contracting policy, procedures and best practices
  • Assessing, reviewing and advising senior managers in respect of contractor claims for variations, progress claims and extensions

Thrive with us We hope you'll bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience working in Contracts & Procurement, ideally within a mining and resources environment
  • Knowledge of preaward project phase i.e. tenders, evaluation, T&C negotiation and award
  • Capable of interpreting technical data from Engineers and collating that information into packages
  • Viewed as beneficial and valuable if you are from an Engineering background, preferably with East Cost exposure
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
