Responsibilities:

Drafting: Produce detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Technical Documentation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive technical documentation for construction projects, building documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.

Visualization: Creation of 3D models and renderings to help visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively.

Graphic Design: Basic understand of Microsoft Suite and basic graphic design for colouring and presenting documentation.

Revision Management: Maintain organized files and documentation, manage revisions, and update drawings as necessary throughout the design and construction phases of projects.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, designers, and event team members to develop and refine design concepts into functional and constructible drawings.

Quality Control: Review drawings and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications and requirements.

Communication: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, builders, cabinetmakers, contractors, and clients, to coordinate design intent and resolve technical issues.

Continuing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural drafting and design.
Qualification & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in architecture, drafting, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably within an architectural firm or design studio.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit or Rhino.) for drafting and detailing.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Familiarity with architectural drafting conventions and practices.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings and documentation.

Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Salary:
$85, $95,000.00 per year
Schedule:
