This role sits with the Business Marketing team as part of CommBank's Marketing and Corporate Affairs division and plays a critical role in supporting our Corporate and Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) team whose clients are some of Australia's largest corporates, institutions, and government clients, including the ASX Top 200.


We provide a full range of financial service solutions including access to debt capital markets, risk management, transaction banking, sustainable finance, structured capital solutions and working capital through dedicated product and industry specialists.

This role is for someone passionate about business to business (B2B) marketing.

As a Marketing Manager at CommBank you are responsible for delivering world class marketing initiatives that increase awareness and consideration of the CommBank brand, and drive advocacy amongst existing clients.


As part of a talented, diverse and committed team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that stretch and grow your skills across content creation, thought leadership, strategic partnership management and events.

Through an intimate understanding of our corporate and institutional customers, you will create engaging and relevant programs that position CommBank as a leader in payments and support our clients as they transition to net zero.


As a member of the broader Business Marketing team, you will have access to fantastic learning opportunities and be able to work on projects across all our business and institutional segments and will report into the Chapter Lead, Segment Marketing.


We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Experience in B2B marketing or marketing communications role within financial services (preferred)
  • Executional experience across multichannel campaigns.
  • Experience of contentbased and relationshipmanaged client marketing.
  • Experience or keen interest in event management.
  • Understanding of key industry trends including sustainability
  • A solid understanding of corporate business dynamics, C-Suite networks and corporate sponsorships.
  • Understanding of Client Segmentation analysis and drawing insight from analysis.
  • Ability to deliver superior outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Project management skills ability to build project plans to deliver to time, budget and objectives.
  • Previous experience working with creative agencies, external partnerships and relationship management/executive teams.
  • Degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred
