PRIMARY DETAIL
Busy and challenging role to support Tertiary Collection of Student Information (TSCI) reporting. Hybrid working arrangement.

  • From $99,739 to $108,139 per annum (HEW Level 7), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 1 continuing role & 1 fixedterm role until December 2023. Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment. Hybrid working arrangement.

THE ROLE


We are seeking two Student Information Analysts (1 x continuing and 1 x fixed-term until December 2023) to provide technical support and advice in relation to student information and data reporting activities to ensure compliance with the Tertiary Collection of Student Information (TCSI) platform and government legislative requirements.


Working within a supportive team, these roles will report to the Senior Student Information Business Partner and provide specialist support across range of reporting activities and data quality assurance for TSCI, and be committed to continuous development and collaborative knowledge sharing.


In this busy and varied role, you will:

  • Execute the design, implementation, and operation of TCSI requirements, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant MQ and MQ IT standards and processes, to maintain the protection of enterprise information and reliability of service delivery.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on availability, performance, and capacity of services and resources.
  • Assist in the assessment and planning of necessary uplift or new initiatives to address issues and/or eliminate adverse impacts on service delivery.
  • Support with user education on student government reporting and requirements.
  • Triage all the error reports that come back from the DESE via TCSI and direct these to the appropriate areas to remediate.
About You


You will be highly analytical with experience in data reporting, preferably in TCSI and student information reporting as well as knowledge of legislative requirements and compliance.

You are organised with the ability to prioritise work demands to meet multiple deadlines. You will have strong attention to detail, a methodical approach and can quickly learn new systems and processes.


You will also have great interpersonal and communications skills to build close and collaborative relationships with the team, your clients and stakeholders (internal and external).

To Apply- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.

  • Analytical and problemsolving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret requirements and information from numerous sources.
  • Experience in documenting operational support procedures and user guides.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of configuring student management system and student information and data

Desirable:

  • Extensive experience working with Student Management systems e.g., Student One.
