Your Opportunity:


  • Successful applicants will have the opportunity to rotate through the registrar rotations listed below.
Positions are based at Royal Melbourne Hospital unless otherwise noted:

  • Colorectal
  • RMH


  • HPB

  • RMH
  • Trauma and Emergency General Surgery
  • General Surgery
  • Wimmera (6month terms)
  • General Surgery
  • Wangaratta (6month terms)
  • General Surgery
  • Epworth
  • Urology
  • Ballarat (6month terms)
  • Urology
(with General Surgery after hours)

  • Wangaratta (6month terms)
  • Surgical leave cover
  • All of our offers of employment will be 12 months in duration. Depending on your level of experience and ability, we offer either a full 12 months as an Unaccredited Registrar or 6 months in surgical HMO rotations, and 2 rotations (minimum) in Unaccredited Registrar rotations.

About You:


  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Welldeveloped communication and presentation skills.
