About the Opportunity


Reporting to the L&D Technical Program Manager, Our Learning and Development Specialists are accountable for implementing learning and development solutions and ensuring alignment with the national organisational Learning and Development strategy.


The role is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of L&D initiatives to increase capability, drive high performance and improve culture across the business and have a focus on employee development.


This role is a permanent, full-time position and has the flexibility to be based from either our Osborne, SA or Henderson, WA facility.


Responsibilities

In addition, our L&D Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Analysis, design, development and assisting in implementation of L&D initiatives across the ASC's lines of business including competency framework development, L&D program development and providing L&D advice to key stakeholders
  • Supporting the work of the L&OD team and broader P&C team including P&C Business Partners and advisors,
  • Providing insights into current and contemporary practices and processes to recommend innovative and improved approaches,
  • Providing managers and individuals with advice and information relating to both corporate and individual learning and development solutions,
  • Use of complex data and systems to analyse and understand key performance indicators related to L&D, and make recommendations to improve L&D offerings.

About You

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
  • Diploma of Training Design and Development or similar (preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role working across a multisite business
  • Experience in L&D program development and competency framework development (preferred)
  • Strong people, learning and development focus, with the ability to support leaders, teams and individuals in achieving their capability and skills development goals
  • Ability to work at both a strategic level, as well as design, implement and facilitated activities and solutions for customers
  • Capacity to work independently, as an embedded member of the L&D team
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities

Eligibility


This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology.

Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
