Position Overview:


As a Junior Planner Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their clients' operations by assisting in the development and execution of efficient mining project schedules.

Your attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills will contribute to the success of various mining projects under our consultancy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project schedules, considering resource availability, equipment utilisation, and project milestones.
  • Assist in monitoring and updating project schedules, ensuring they align with the evolving project requirements and constraints.
  • Contribute to the identification of potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks and propose solutions to mitigate these issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, resource allocation, and scheduling adjustments.
  • Utilise industrystandard software tools to create and maintain schedules, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams to gather necessary information and ensure smooth execution of project plans.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related experience.
  • 12 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, or mining operations.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detailoriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for the mining industry and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic consultancy environment.
