The Location
The Ormsby, a 136 bed residential aged care facility located in the beautiful Buderim.

The Ormsby is close to shops, banks, schools and medical services, while still being a part of the welcoming, friendly Buderim village and only 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast's fabulous beaches.


The Job


You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day.

You will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

  • Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.
  • Cleaning the food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment and utensils.
  • Cater for special occasions such as birthdays, cultural and religious occasions, meetings and events.
  • Assist in maintaining the dining and adjacent rooms in a clean and hazard free condition.

You bring:

at least 6-months experience in a commercial kitchen, a real commitment to working safely, fabulous team work skills, basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference.
