ABOUT US:


Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a Queensland Statutory Authority established to regulate the building industry and ensure maintenance of proper building standards and remedies for defective building work.

QBCC also serves to educate, protect and support the community and the Industry via licensing and registers, education, dispute resolution and adjudication, enforcing compliance and managing the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.


The aim of this role is to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and external customers
  • Receive, acknowledge and manage requests received by the Ministerial and Executive Services Unit
  • Assist with the administration and development of records and case management systems
  • Prepare general correspondence generate reports from case management system and assist with the compliation of ministerial briefing notes
  • Provide confidential, high quality administrative support including advanced word processing and use of Microsoft office products
  • Contribute to the work group and building effective work relationships
  • Ability to prioritise to achieve outcomes within set timeframes
  • Ability to rapidly learn and work with information systems used by the team
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Collect, organise and provide information, including checking the accuracy of information and ensuring the information meets work requirements.
