The role:
As a data analyst, you will join a well established analytics team who provide in-depth analysis across a range of data sources across claims in their consumer product portfolio.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their data journey and join an enterprise level organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and evaluate claims data to understand performance, identifying areas for improvement and provide recommendations
- Collaborate closely with the Claims Team to identify underperforming segments that require a thorough investigation into performance drivers, as necessary.
- Enhance and refine performance reporting to meet the obligations outlined with key stakeholders
- Create and share regular reports to the business identifying performance across the product portfolio, sharing insights and detailed analysis on performance
- Deliver innovative solutions to address stakeholders' information and reporting requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide recommendations for performance targets.
- Offer insights into schemes and the industry, including internal and external factors and trends that impact performance.
- You will have a minimum of two years data analysis experience within financial services sector
- Mandatory to have experience with a diverse range of analytics tools, such as data manipulation (SQL, SAS or R) and data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrates the ability to analyze information, identify key issues, compare data, and establish causeeffect relationships to develop effective solutions.

Organizational Skills:
Proficient in establishing goal-oriented processes and allocating appropriate resources to achieve objectives, whether personal or team-related
- Proven experience within the insurance domain and understanding of the claims process would be highly beneficial
- Possessing a formal qualification in technology, information systems, data analytics, or finance/commerce is desirable.

A competitive salary package on offer ranging from $110,000 - $150,000 including super plus bonus and benefits.
