About the role
The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and
delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

  • Working with Children Check for paid employment
  • Commitment to the value of public education

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • You ae passionate about making a difference to the quality of public education by leading the development and delivery of a portfolio of projects
  • You are an adept communicator who enjoys overseeing all aspects of project development and implementation
  • You are motivated by solving problems and delivering solutions to project teams
  • You are dedicated tot he development of strategies and tools to continuously improve processes
  • You would understand the elements of project management and policy as essential components in the success of strategic project both large and small
