About the Project:
Ventia is proudly partnering with Transurban Queensland (TQ) with over 80 team members to provide incident response, maintenance, and minor capital works for open roads & tunnelling assets in the Southeast of Queensland (SEQ).
About the Role:
Ventia / Skout's Civil Team are recruiting landscape labourers to ensure the landscaping around the motorways are consistently maintained to the highest standard; with a goal to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing motoring experience for its patrons.
Primary Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Vegetation control
- Remove litter and debris from roadways and drainage systems.
- Perform roadside landscaping work, such as clearing weeds and brush, and general vegetative maintenance.
What's required:
- 6 months similar labouring experience, TMR related will be highly regarded
- Familiar with mowing, weed control and slashing operations.
- Operation of whipper snipper
- White Construction Card
- TMI Management Ticket, or be willing to obtain at your own cost
- MR license is not essential, but desirable
