About the role:

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced
Storeperson to join our team on a
part-time basis working 25-30 hours per week.

Working in a team of two with our existing full-time Storeperson, this role is responsible for maintaining plant, equipment and vehicles, and managing inventory and deliveries in order to support the efficient day-to-day operations of the business.

The duties will include:

• Maintaining registers for inventory, vehicles, plant & equipment
• Receiving, checking and storing all delivered materials
• Liaising with supervisors/schedulers for parts received & stock control
• Maintaining sign out registers for all plant & equipment
• Monitoring waste disposal and scrap steel bins
• Contacting the appropriate supplier for emptying of waste
• General yard and housekeeping maintenance
• Delivering plant and equipment to repairers
• Monitoring tools and equipment and placing orders
• Conducting inspections of inhouse equipment as required
• Monitoring used tyres and fluorescent globe build up and disposal
• Supporting vehicle servicing and repair bookings
• Ensuring all required equipment is calibrated and fit for use
• Assisting with the quarterly testing and tagging of electrical equipment
• Organising the use and return of the Ace Plus Community Bus
• Monitoring PPE, tools and equipment
• Attending and participating in quarterly toolbox meetings
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

What you'll bring to our team:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a storeperson
• Manual WA Driver's Licence
• White Card
• First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights and EWP (highly regarded)
• Sound computer skills
• Solid understanding of safety
• Strong communicator and organisational skills
