Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity to fill a role within the Urban forest and City presentation team. You will be part of a small but dedicated team of specialists that manage Councils reactive tree maintenance.

We are seeking a self-motivated and versatile person to carry out safe and efficient tree pruning and removal operations.

To fulfil this role you must be able to demonstrate that you have a strong knowledge of the tree industry and can demonstrate competency in their field.

This includes the operation of associated plant and equipment.


This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be $66,447 - $70,878 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.


What you will need to thrive

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • PC skills with sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite and experience with customer service databases.
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Arboriculture or substantial tree industry experience
  • Current Victorian Medium Rigid Driver's License would be an advantage

  • Capable of addressing work related issues in a positive and professional manner and the ability and willingness to mentor field staff within the open space team.
