About Us:
Alchemy Digital Media is a boutique content digital agency.

We build and create content for our clients whether it is video, social media campaigns, digital marketing or website builds.

Our clients range from the financial sector right through to the not-for profit. We started our journey as movie makers, now we tell stories using social media, website creation and google essentials.

About the role

As the social Media, Content and Community Coordinator you will be responsible for managing all social media channels for our clients, develop content for social media and PR and support key PR and marketing initiatives


In addition, you will:

  • Assist with increasing brand awareness and developing social media content strategy and campaigns with the help of PR, content marketing and social media.
  • Prepare and post updates, articles and blogs on a range of social media platforms
  • Managing all social media channels
  • Creating and maintain relationships with influencers and media
  • Draft articles to be used in content marketing
  • Draft media releases for PR Assist with event management
  • Ensure all content is onbrand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice for all clients
  • Consistently measure, analyse and report ongoing social media and content performance
  • Assist with other PR and marketing activities

About You
You are passionate, enthusiastic, motivated and have a love for and of all things digital.

Whether you are working with an e-commerce brand or a social justice client, your love for storytelling is a must.

In addition, you have a hunger to learn and grow with a start-up company and an understanding that the path to success requires building relationships and being a team player.

To be successful for this role, you should have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities including short and long form content experience.
  • Creativity, a good visual eye for social media aesthetic and a love of storytelling.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in social media, marketing or communications.
  • An understanding of how to prepare social media reporting and analyse results to optimise ads.
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Google).
  • Experience and/or basic knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram for business and Hootsuite.
  • Experience and/or basic knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience at working on communication strategy and copywriting.
  • Some knowledge of In-Design or Adobe a bonus
  • Degree in marketing and communications or appropriate experience will be considered

Salary:
$65, $79,000.00 per year
