About the team:

Central Operations keeps our business moving. Our team cares for, supports, and empowers our retail teams across the country. We help them be at their best, so they can deliver the best experiences for our customers every day.

Within Central Operations our Innovation team test future concepts that will shape the way we deliver on our customer obsession strategy.

To support the delivery of a number of key projects in the pipeline we are looking for an experience Innovation Project Manager to join the team.


About the role:


As the Innovation Lead, you'll support the innovation process and methodology, partnering with a dynamic group of company leadership, technology and operational teams.

Overall, you'll provide a commercial benefit to the organisation as well as enhancing the in-store customer experience.

Other ways you can make an impact include:
- ensuring what's trialled and tested within the experimental store process is delivered through change stages
- supporting the delivery of proof of concepts
- maintaining and supporting the development of the Innovation Roadmap
- developing stakeholder and CAC packs to reflect project information
- researching world's best practices in innovation concepts to drive customer footprint
- assisting project delivery teams to meet objectives, where required


About you and your skills:

You will be experienced project manager who can help deliver projects with passion and enthusiasm. You will also have;
- strong understanding of the retail operational model, coupled with experience developing and managing project plans - store operations experience viewed favourably
- commercial management skills and experience in successfully managing end to end projects
- proven problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement with the initiative to resolve issues and know when to escalate
- a high level of resilience to manage competing demands, ensure priorities are controlled and team commitments are delivered in a timely manner
- the ability to work independently and effectively in cross-functional teams, while building relationships, and aligning competing agendas to deliver a business outcome
- exceptional written and oral communication skills with an enthusiastic and logical approach
