Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail stores, to maximize sales opportunities.
Organize and conduct wine tastings, staff trainings, and promotional events to increase product awareness and drive sales.
Monitor sales performance and work closely with the General Manager and Managing Director to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and support marketing initiatives.
Ensure timely communication of product availability, pricing, and promotions to clients.
Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to the General Manager.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in wine sales.
Proven track record in establishing and driving the on-premise market
A strong passion for wine and a solid understanding of wine regions, grape varieties, and wine production processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and engage a diverse range of clients.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as regular travel within the assigned territory will be required.
WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine certification is preferred but not mandatory.
