The opportunity:

We have a fantastic newly created opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join our growing Tele Underwriting and Admin team.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Underwriting Service Representatives and Administrators within the Retail Customer and Operations Department.

Ensuring the completion of all new Tele-Application requests and administrative tasks are completed within the agreed standards, procedures, and service levels.

To do this successfully you will:

Manage team members workloads to ensure overall achievement of service level, productivity and quality targets are met
Responding to escalations in a timely manner and ensuring the inbox is addressed as per agreed turnaround times
Provide ongoing coaching, support and development of the Tele-Collect Consultants and Underwriting Administrators
Actively contribute towards the development of service transformation and business process improvement initiatives
Proactive stakeholder engagement, relationship and expectation management
Leadership experience within the Life Insurance industry is highly desirable
Proven ability to maintain and build relationships with advisers and dealer groups
ANZIF Cert IV highly desirable
Proven People Management skills and experiencing leading teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
