Our client, a leading civil contractor in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join their team for a range of exciting new local projects worth a combined value of $70M across civil and rail environments.


Key responsibilities:


  • Working with the Supervisor to ensure smooth running of the site personnel, upholding site safety and the completion of assigned tasks
  • Allocate resources, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines
  • Reading, interpreting and communicating engineering objectives
  • Conduct regular inspections, identify any defects or deviations from specifications
  • General site operating if required using a range of plant equipment

Experience:


  • Experience in subdivisions is highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of overseeing successful civil, roads or subdivisions projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and the project team
  • Passion for delivering successful projects
