    We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Managerto join our Site Management Team in Melbourne.
    This role will supervise all site related aspects of assigned projectsand will report to the Construction Manager.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Establish and maintain sites as per the company's procedures Assist with the development of the Project Management & Safety Plan (PMSP) Ensure building isolations and building systems compliance Complete regular checks to ensure site safety and quality of works completed Manage safety procedures on construction sites to ensure worker safety Maintain a safe & clean working environment for all team members, contractors, and visitors Manage work activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Assist with the management of the construction programme Complete two week lookahead to forecast site activities Confirm completion of work at various stages Defect management ensuring defect free handover Estimate costs for labor and materials needed for projects RFI management ensuring client needs are resolved in a timely manner Schedule time efficiently to ensure that all project goals are met within specified time frames Manage and maintain applicable records within the Project Management System Record construction details such as measurements, materials used, and building codes used Ensure the latest information for the execution of the project is available for those who require it, including documents, drawings, scopes, and schedules Manage Subcontractors and Suppliers on site Attend and take minutes for the weekly subcontractor meetings Monitor the progress of construction to ensure contractors are meeting deadlines and adhering to specifications Subcontractor management and performance evaluation Manage the health & safety of site personnel Take reasonable care for your own health and safety, avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of co-workers Follow all company health and safety procedures Attend and participate in any training sessions provided Report all hazards in the workplace so injury can be prevented and report any workplace incidents to your manager.


    Successful applicants must have:

    Qualified in relevant trade applicable to the Building Industry or equivalent tertiary qualifications Construction White Card or the ability to attain First Aid Certificate Level 2 or the ability to attain Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety or the ability to attain Minimum 3 years' building industry experience in a Site Management role Demonstrated experience in developing and executing SWMS and Safety Coordination Plans Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others through effective communication Demonstrated skills in Microsoft office and similar online Project Management System Ability to plan workloads with limited supervision, set priorities and meet deadlines Competency will be tracked against our Skill and Competency Matrices This position offers the chance to be part of a friendly, supportive, tight-knit team.
