We are looking for an experience Accounts Payable professional to join us

Key Responsibilities include:

Responsible for matching purchase orders (PO) to invoices and investigating discrepancies
Generating creditor and intercompany payments
Generate, validate and execute payment runs
Verifying invoices using the OCR invoice system
Month end general ledger reconciliation
Developing and enhancing relationships with customers and stakeholders within the business
Working closely with colleagues and management to resolve any PO or invoice queries

Who you are:

You are experienced in a highvolume AP with strong reconciliation and investigative matching skills
The key to the success of this role is being customercentric, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike
You'll use your analytical skills and natural ability to solve problems to great effect in this role
Timeliness and organisation are key in this role, that means knowing what to prioritise and having a clear sense of urgency
You'll be a great communicator, with the ability to engage and inform
You have the ability to work independently, to make decisions and/or escalate where necessary
You'll be tech savvy and not afraid to jump in and learn new systems (we use FinOps, so any experience with this would be advantageous but not essential)
Tertiary qualifications in a finance or accounting field would be advantageous but not essential
Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
