We are looking for an experience Accounts Payable professional to join us


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Responsible for matching purchase orders (PO) to invoices and investigating discrepancies
  • Generating creditor and intercompany payments
  • Generate, validate and execute payment runs
  • Verifying invoices using the OCR invoice system
  • Month end general ledger reconciliation
  • Developing and enhancing relationships with customers and stakeholders within the business
  • Working closely with colleagues and management to resolve any PO or invoice queries

Who you are:


  • You are experienced in a highvolume AP with strong reconciliation and investigative matching skills
  • The key to the success of this role is being customercentric, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike
  • You'll use your analytical skills and natural ability to solve problems to great effect in this role
  • Timeliness and organisation are key in this role, that means knowing what to prioritise and having a clear sense of urgency
  • You'll be a great communicator, with the ability to engage and inform
  • You have the ability to work independently, to make decisions and/or escalate where necessary
  • You'll be tech savvy and not afraid to jump in and learn new systems (we use FinOps, so any experience with this would be advantageous but not essential)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a finance or accounting field would be advantageous but not essential
  • Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
