An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys supporting a diverse portfolio of teams across the Business Services Group (BSG) at News Corp Australia.

No two days will ever be the same working closely alongside the Director, Business Services Group and the senior leadership team, assisting with diary and event management, travel and finance accruals while managing contractor and contributor purchasing arrangements.


Situated in Bowen Hills, the team works across a variety of areas including, Frontline Sales, Procurement, Production and Logistics, Fulfilment and much more.

We pride ourselves on being able to partner, simplify and 'get the job done' and are looking for someone who shares these principles.


What's the role?

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring regular meetings are scheduled for all direct reports and other key business relationships
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and anticipating business needs
  • Undertake and manage projects and programs of work, creating agendas, taking minutes and following up on action points
  • Whole of department travel bookings and expense reconciliation
  • Helping with the broader team where necessary
  • Organising conferences, offsites and events
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new starters
  • Managing a small roster of junior executive assistants

Who you are

  • You hold experience in a similar role
  • You will have a proactive approach to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking, seeking out opportunities and proposing solutions
  • You will be able to work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and thrive working in a busy and collaborative office
  • You have a friendly demeanour, a good sense of humour and the ability to keep a level head during busy periods
