- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and manage technical risks

- Extensive experience in data science, with expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualisation
- Strong Python programming skills as well as a strong appreciation for clean code principles, testing, github and agile development
- Familiarity with analytical packages, such as Pandas, Nump, Sci-kit learn, TensorFlow, or others
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure
- Demonstrated experience leading complex data analysis projects with experience writing project proposals, project status reporting, and presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- An advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field will be highly regarded

We are looking for a Senior Specialist Data Scientist who will work as part of a larger group of domain experts (engineers and scientists) that provide technical services, assurance, and governance to our product group's mining, refining and smelting operational assets across the east coast of Australia and New Zealand.
This is a great opportunity for a Data Science enthusiast with a background/early career in engineering & analytics to support our primary east coast product offering.

Reporting to the Manager Advanced Analytics and working in a collaborative community, within the Advanced Data Analytics team, you will be:
