You might have held a sales team leader or manager role in recent years and are now ready to lead the way and be our GM/Country Leader for Dext.

You'll be an inspirational leader who can engage a thriving team and motivate a community of financial professionals. By owning the GTM strategy and budget needed to deliver revenue and active client targets. Working alongside the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure alignment with the global commercial strategy.


You'll provide leadership and direction for the ANZ organisation, including setting goals, inspiring and motivating staff, and promoting a positive and productive work culture.

Represent Dext externally as the Country Leader for ANZ, building relationships with key stakeholders in the market. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including market research and analysis, partnership development, and new product or service offerings.

To be an expert in local market conditions and needs. Ensure other functions (esp. Marketing Product, CS) understand those needs, and hold them accountable for delivering to them.


Key Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue in the region through effective sales and marketing strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding the customer base.
  • Improve the region's profitability by reducing costs, increasing productivity, and maximising revenue
- meeting the needs of the customers and delivering value to them.

  • Improve staff retention and create a positive work culture.

About you - what we are looking for

Critical competencies:


  • Leadership: must have strong leadership skills to provide direction and guidance to their team and to create a positive work culture.
  • Strategic thinking: must be able to think strategically and develop plans to achieve the organization's longterm goals.
  • Financial management: should have strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Decisionmaking: must be able to make tough decisions quickly, based on data and analysis, often with limited information.
  • Communication: should have strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with C level/Board, senior management, employees, customers, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiation:should be able to negotiate effectively with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation.
  • Problemsolving: must be able to identify problems and develop effective solutions, often under pressure and with limited resources and data.
  • Innovation:should be able to foster a culture of innovation within the organisation, encouraging employees to generate new ideas and approaches.

Experience

  • 10+ years' sales experience; with commercial acumen with proven ability to identify, qualify, pitch, negotiate and close new business opportunities within a monthly sales cycle
  • 5+ years running a business or remote region with GTM capabilities to define the strategy to deliver against the business needs and targets.
  • Business strategy: needs to understand how to develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve organisational goals.
  • Financial management: needs to have a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Marketing and sales:needs to be knowledgeable about marketing and sales strategies, including market research, brand management, and sales techniques.
  • Project management: should have strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Operational management: need to be able to manage the daytoday operations of the organisation, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
