World Courier Australia is in search for a Quality Coordinator to manage the quality requirements of all World Courier Australian offices, and ensure all customer, regulatory and legislative requirements for logistics and pharmaceutical industry are not only met but exceeded.


Reporting to Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of day-to-day activities of the quality department, with a focus compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, providing GMP, GDP training to the operational team and managing audits and non-conformance's.


Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:

  • Oversee the management of internal and external audits ensuring that quality and local pharmaceutical and logistics standards are improved and maintained.
  • Ensuring that change control, risk assessment, document control, Complaints CAPA, deviation is completed in timely manner and managed as per procedures.
  • Lead and influence stakeholders, senior leaders, and fellow team members to ensure quality is of the highest standard.
  • Assess and review the temperature data for all temperaturecontrolled areas.
  • Oversee calibration, maintenance and qualification program for all equipment and facilities in collaboration with Engineering and Operations team.
  • Review validation document for equipment, facility, system and assure that validation is performed according to Validation Master Plan.
  • Conduct Quality and document checks for pharmaceutical secondary repacking activities.
  • Improve on existing quality documentation and archiving process.
  • Ensuring timely quality metric generation for trend analysis and reporting to management.
  • Support in management of training matrix and training target accuracy.
  • Support traceability and mock recall programs and schedules.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification in a in one of the following scientific disciplines: pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, biology and related fields.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical logistics or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of a wide range of standards
  • ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, Australian code of good wholesaling practice for medicines in schedules 2, 3, 4 & 8, PIC/S Guideline PE Export and import regulations knowledge would be added advantage).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage alongside a wide range of stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change
  • Have a handson approach
  • High level of computer literacy as working in multiple IT systems
  • Microsoft Sharepoint, Office suite.

Salary:
$65, $85,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Melbourne Airport, VIC 3045: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Quality assurance: 3 years (preferred)
