Since 2007, Drawable Pty Ltd has undertaken some of the biggest trade drafting jobs in Australia.

Drawable works for 500 trade-based companies throughout the Pacific Rim and has completed over 9,400 projects from electrical plans, control system drawings, plumbing drawings and electrical schematics to constructions drawings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist Architects with managing several small to large projects
  • Coordination with the production team, builders and the team involved in the projects.
  • The delivery of their designated client projects and deliverables
  • The governance and administration of the project structure for their designated clients
  • Maintaining client and stakeholder relationships for the purpose of the contract outcomes
  • Managing the project delivery team
  • Managing the engagement of stakeholders and third parties to coordinate activities
  • Oversight of strategic plans and documentation
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes and task plans
  • Developing and executing complex logĂ­stical processes
  • Overseeing the engagement and management of thirdparty contractors
  • Creating and delivering communications programmes including providing presentations
  • Managing project resources and tools
  • Development of production and fabrication drawings according to client's documentation
  • Design solutions and proposal for the clients including collecting necessary data, estimating costs and required time, preliminary data analysis. Propose innovative solutions.
  • Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
  • Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.
  • Analyse technical implications of architect's design concept, calculating weights, volumes, and stress factors.
  • Create freehand drawings and lettering to accompany drawings.
  • Prepare coloured drawings of interior designs for presentation to client.
  • Reproduce drawings on copy machines or trace copies of plans and drawings, using transparent paper or cloth, ink, pencil, and standard drafting instruments.
  • Prepare cost estimates, contracts, bidding documents and technical reports for specific projects under an architect's supervision.
  • Build landscape, architectural and display models.
  • Analyse building codes, bylaws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
  • Operate computeraided drafting equipment such as Revit and AutoCAD or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
  • Interpreting plans and specifications to prepare detailed design drawings and documentation in compliance with Australian standards.
  • Liaising with the fabrication and site team to overcome technical issues and prepare new documentation as required.
  • Inspecting work fabricated and completed on site to ensure compliance with drawings.

Requirements:

Must have customer service experience

Experience in Architectural drawing or drafting

2 years relevant experience in Architecture or drafting

Experience working towards targets and KPIs

Experience in project presentations

Confidently engage and communicate with all types of customers

Have energy and drive for selling and providing a professional customer experience

Be able to work in a team and take personal responsibility for outcome.

Be familiar with architectural and drawing software


Salary:
$63,000.00 per year
