We are currently partnering with a prestigious Global Law firm to recruit a Technology Manager with expertise in Financial Systems (ideally from a Software Development / BI background) - This is a Permanent role and is based in the Sydney CBD.

The role

In this role you'll be accountable for overseeing a team of four direct reports, and assuming overall responsibility for managing and delivering all aspects of maintenance and development, configuration, and integrations within the Financial Project Management Software / Systems.

Your team will be responsible for implementing enhancements and resolving issues within financial systems, through a combination of hands-on development work, configuration, and partnership with key stakeholders and end-users throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the global business finance team to maintain and enhance all products within the FPMS suite.
Liaise with billing, trust, and NBI teams to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
Work closely with BI reporting teams to improve the FPMS suite products.
Coordinate with external auditors (PwC) for transaction process and reporting
Manage and develop all FPMS environments, including production, test, development, and training environments.
Assist in the development and upgrade of the DMS (worksite), CHRIS21 (HR), and expense systems (Chrome River)

Skills Required:

FPMS development and configuration experience, including Expert frameworks, Intapp integrations, and components such as client, matter, time entry, billing, and invoicing.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft clientside technologies, MS Reporting Services, and Microsoft SQL.
Project management skills for small to midsized IT projects.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Experience with serviceoriented help desk and upskilling support team members on financial systemrelated requests.
58+ years of IT management experience in FPMS integrated systems, including development, implementation, and maintenance of financial or related systems.
Graduate qualification or equivalent in Finance/IT, Computer Science, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications desirable.
